I wanted a packing app that helped a family remember together.
Most packing apps help one person remember more. I built Everyone’s Packed to put the whole job in front of the family, including the shopping, laundry, charging, and last-minute checks.
I’m James Peerless, the developer and operator of Everyone’s Packed. If something is confusing or broken, you can reach the person responsible for fixing it.
The problem I wanted to solve
A shared checklist is not truly shared when one person still has to remember every detail, hand out every task, and report what remains.
Everyone’s Packed gives each person the same current trip and a clear way to add, take, and finish work. The goal is not a longer list. It is fewer things for one person to keep carrying in their head.
Simple first, detailed when useful
A solo weekend should feel like an ordinary checklist. A beach trip with two adults, three children, a baby, and a dog needs more structure.
People, responsibilities, Pack/Buy/Do tasks, and notes appear when they help. They do not have to crowd every row of every trip.
Private by design
Families join by private invitation. There are no public profiles, follower counts, social feeds, or ads, and you can begin without giving the app an email address, phone number, or password.
Private packing content is not sold and is not used to train AI models.
A real person behind the app
I’m responsible for the product, support, privacy, pricing, accessibility, and keeping Everyone’s Packed working across phones, tablets, and the web.
